12/09/2025, blog 1: my PC is unusuable

so... this is my first blog that i've done and the only blog i've done on my phone, but why did my PC went unusuable in the first place? well, that all started in the middle of midnight, at 2:00 AM to be exact. i was gonna turn on the PC to do some first discoveries on Infinite Craft (maybe finding the Koikuma element as my expectation) and probably maintain this website with ease, but i was greeted with bad news when i suddenly heard a small bang on one of the cables where it was attached into my now near-defective monitor, and it was the last one that works, since i have 4 monitors and 3 of them are defective nowadays. now, i was gonna figure out on buying a new connector for my monitor, since most of the connectors i have were rusty and are prone to that same issue it happened the time i'm writing this blog, so only 3 connectors survived, but i might've also ruined my monitor, since it wasn't showing any light the next time i grabbed another connector that fortunately works? i don't know, but it might've been the connector's issue with it's rusty pins. though, this is one of the frustrating things that would happen, since all of my development stuff is on my PC and i can't access that without the monitor. i'm definitely not writing the game fully blind at this point. maybe in one day; just maybe, i'll get a new 16:9 monitor and a connector since i've been stuck with 5:4, which kind of hurts my perspective. oh well, i can't play Infinite Craft without my save files, since i had a lot of first discoveries with it.

however, there are some drawbacks into this issue, such as; getting locked out with majority of the stuff that i do, limited to using the phone only (whereas PC is everything), monitors might be expensive (since i live in the Philippines and they might be overpriced, according to my family), otherwise it might be still affordable by buying those cheap NEC monitors
