what's this website about:

this website is a personal website that i used to dump my random shenanigans and my other stuff that i've made via an individual group called The Hananezumi Project! some themes will mix alongside with my Hananezumi theme, such as Nekopara, Koikuma, etc.

"what's Hananezumi?"

the term "Hananezumi" is called "Flower Mouse" in Japanese, which Azume and Kyoko's appearance appear to be like a generic rat like you see in the sewers. though, they don't live in the sewers like rats do. it's called Flower Mouse, not Sewer Rats for a reason. the icon itself has a designated codename, and the codename is called "Blooming Harmony" (which you can see on the top of this page); and it was previously called "Beyond Aura" from it's old icon from 2024.

"where did it all started?"

it only started as a fun little hobby back in the day. once I expanded my storytelling and characters, The Hananezumi Project was slowly getting developed as a little group project, with only me being in this group. The Hananezumi Project started with these 2 characters; Azume Tametani and Kyoko Tametani, which are the main core of this project group. the group project takes place in the Philippines, which you may rarely see one of them developing a game like i am. while the name itself is in Japanese, this is just a main part of my knowledge and expansion. without the Japanese language, the majority of the characters would turn into ashes, and this group project wouldn't exist as well.

"who owns The Hananezumi Project?"

only me, i usually don't have any people who help with my game's development as i'm the main guy who code everything while assets are from other people that i do not consider as group members. QA/testers also doesn't count as a group member, they only volunteer with the game's development before release.

"what are the mascots here?"

Hananezumi HQ has multiple mascots rather than 1 mascot to rely on.

Maki Chikara is the data crawler mascot out of all 3 mascots, an avid hacker that obtains and send data here (FYI: Maki doesn't and will not steal your data, this is more of her personality and role in mind), but can be seen at the website banner when you're on Maki's Directory via BaraOS. you'll mostly see her, no matter what.

Kyoko Tametani is the main mascot out of all 3 mascots, shown on the left of the website banner. also the main persona that i mostly use to identify on the Internet.

Mono Kuroko is the 2nd main mascot out of all 3 mascots, shown on the left of the website banner, but only if it's Time Will Travel related.

note about this page:

this page is a cutting edge meant for testing new code without breaking the currently used one. go back here if you want to go back to the actual page.

this is also used as a space for changing things, because breaking the main thing is a hassle to deal with. note that this box will disappear whenever we finished the cutting edge process, but some other pages will be broken during the process as i'm working on reconstructing the CSS stuff. BaraOS is not affected from this change.

as an extra, check the new "Not Found", "character template" and "index" page. overhaul changes in all of the pages (where it has that legacy style) will take a while.
